Description

Ooh look another tank...who would have guessed. Its a ww2 soviet BT-7 light tank. Couple of interesting features on this tank, it was designed so the tracks could be removed for increased speed on roads, all the wheels had solid rubber rims and the frontmost wheel was used to steer, it even had car like controls instead of the usual system of levers. It also used an aircraft engine, which explains the large-bore exhaust pipes and numerous vents, although apparently they still overheated a lot. + the thing that looks like a handrail around the turret is actually a radio antenna. im taking my time with the textures, will post when done. comments welcome...

In soem wats reminds me ov a cross between the FT 17 and a PZ 38T. For something differnt try a T-35. it had multiple turrets.

good display of image, good history and information on the subject, i give this a 9 and a 10 when you get the textures finished. You are trully an incredibly good modeller/replicator of the past. I can't wait to see what you could do if you took a design of old, tweaked it for the future and threw in a bit of your own wild imagination. :P all the same, it's always a joy to see your work.

yet another tank, yet another great piece, I agree on the "lets see you make your own new tank" Who knows, we might see it in action one day!
