Description

Was not online Sunday (yesterday). Had a big scare huge fire across the street. and lots to do. Not pulling your leg -reeally close to my home!! This pic is not postworked with the sign ..it is a familar thing to my eyes across the street.. but i did add the flames on the frame (see the flame man at the top right hes a old bad flame-lol!!) cause by the time I got home my side of the mountain was somewhat contained - copters still dustin though got some great shots of that ..but liked this one. before it happened... i was a bit dreading the days' chore.. I took the girls to the laundramat and we did 30 loads of dirty clothes .cause our dryer broke down. (Didn

Eeek! Fires that close to home are not fun. Lucky for us Kimmie, the roving reporter, was there to capture it as it happened. Thank goodness you were spared. Maybe they should change their sign to say "Fired Wood" :)

Yow!! At least YOU and the firewood were spared. Scary stuff ... I know, as fire is a real problem in AZ this time of year too. Kimmers, that photo is priceless -- I'm in awe of your talent -- you know when a photo is begging to be taken. Excellent!! and BIG VOTE!!

"30 LOADS OF LAUNDRY????" and then with the Mountain on FIRE....you ran upstairs and grabbed your NIKON? Run for SAFETY Woman!!! lol. I think you were more excited to capture a dangerous fire than run from it, lol. Your experience was very enjoyable to read. With the firewood for sale and the forest fire in the background, it is the perfect capture. I'm sure the price of firewood would go up now. Excellent job on this Post. Aloha
