Description

I know this shot is too dark, but I wanted to show off our new camcorder! This is the Canon XL2 which we got for our latest movie project. It came with a 20x zoom, and we got another 3x wide angle zoom lens. Here you see my daughter Jen, the producer, with the "clapper" to start the scene, and cameraman Mike is getting ready to record the action. We were using the hallway of a local high school for our film "What Are The Odds?", a comedy based on real life events showing that sometimes everything that can go wrong, will go wrong! My son Ryan was supposed to be operating the camera, but at the last minute one of the lead actors didn't show up, so he had to take over his part. When you can't pay your actors in cash, sometimes they just don't come through! But we do feed them well :) Thanks for the comments, and have a great week!

Did I hear you say, "When you can't pay your actors in cash ... "? Just offer them a share of the profits. LOL BTW, do you remember which movies (yes, more than one) had that line?
