Description

In succession of the series Lessons learned I want to add something about timing and about composition. Timing is special, because it's essential not only to be on the best place but also to wait for the best moment. The early morning mood is hard to capture when being on vacation in the summer, because the sun gets up early. But waking up very early might give you some surprising opportunities to shoot nature - even when you know it already so well - in quite a different mood. Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments Minolta X-700 (Agfa CT 100, 50 mm)

The better of my picture are from the early morning shots and not the afternoon captures. The colors are different early as compared to the afternoon shots. Everything seems fresh in the early mornings. Your capture here is beautiful. Excellent....Aloha

You're absolutely right! Timing IS so important!! when i'm on vacation at the sea, i always wake up before dawn, and that means i get the opportunity to see and shoot the most incredible sunrises!! What a JOY!!! what a GORGEOUS scene you've captured here of the clouds!!! they look like they're in a hurry to get somewhere!!!!! a wonderful moment you show us!!!

Can't agree with you more! Morning light is just magic, but you must be ready to take advantage at the precise moment...fumbling around with the settings can loose a precious shot...Well seen and captured here! Aloha~

Yes, there is something special about those early morning shots! I love how you've captured the low clouds against the canyon walls in this shot :)
