Description

When clouds are moving around it can pay to wait for the right moment (as the 'wait' in the movie Minority Report has a special meaning, but (un?)fortunately we usually do not know the future ;). I decided to wait for those sunrays that would make the mountain stand out and fortunately my patience payed off (that is not always the case) and here you can see the result. It works all the same for the bee visiting the flower although with modern digital camera's you can shoot as if it were a movie, picking out the best ones afterwards. Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments Minolta X-700 (Agfa CT 100, 50 mm)

Wow! this image is so surreal! Look at that sky and those cliffs!!!! Incredible!!!! and yep...timing sure was great! the sun on the snow is so beautiful!!!! I'm not so good about WAITING for things to happen. i tried on vacation. I sat outside for an hour or so trying to capture these silly woodpeckers. the whole time i was sitting there...they never once showed up. then i tried sitting for an hour on the front porch to capture a pic of momma bird feeding baby bird that was in a bird house hanging on the porch. got several pics of momma. she wasn't too scared of me. i tend to just look around me and capture what i see and then move on. Your waiting sure paid off here! this image would make a wonderful book cover!!!! Love it!!!! :)

Patience is such a virture, and yours paid off well here...I have had mixed results waiting for the right moment. Sometimes it comes and sometimes it zooms right by...it's up to a bit of luck sometimes....Great beautiful shot! Aloha~

The advent of the motor-driven camera came and went as I set up my color video camera. If only I could have afforded a "frame grabber" my TRS-80 would have held the stills. Now with scanners nearly behind us, I dabble and view the progress.

It's amazing to consider that there are places and moments like this on our planet, and you have done such an awesome job of capturing this.
