Description
More of the character portraits I been adding to my sketch book recently. At the moment every other page in my sketch book is reserved for this type of work. I think next ill move onto body shots instead of faces.

good stuff here. you have an excellent sense of shade value, but i encourage you to take it to the next level. darken the darks pitch pitch black, for example in lucas's ear and around the edge of hair, that level of darkness. color the background of that picture, with the blackest black you can find, and he'll pop! giving a real sense of depth. your proportion lines are looking good, keep up the good work, you got the knack. peace~
