Upstairs... yes, thats now...! lhel I love this scene youve captured... Wonderful light and contrasts... It looks a bit like the entry to a secret world, sublime and just beautiful in its simplicity...!! Excellent shot and wonderful presentation. I like the simple form, its the most fitting kind of presenting this mighty building!! Just love it... ;-) Yeah, I do... dzk dvmjsads

For a moment i thought I missed 'Cathedral 2'. The tight composition and mulitple angles are all working in your favor. The time of day, when the sun is too high, makes the shadow too strong. Early morning or late afternoon might be better, so there would be more detail in the dark areas. looks like it was taken around 12:30 -1:30 in the afternoon by the casting of the shadow. One other note. The POV is very strong, especially when one sees the lines of the upper step on the right side come directly at you at eye level. Then the last step right corner all connect with the verticle line to the upper ledge. If your going to retake, I would show more of the bottom step connecting to the right corner that is slightly cut off.

Hi Christian, super lens I find mine continually stuck to the front of my camera, the world looks so different at 19mm LOL. I like the shadows in your image adding to the graphic lines.
