Description

Another maxwell render. I was testing out some metal surfaces. Its still hard to get things right with the lw plugin.

Is that DOF blurring HDRI-correct? Looks like the spec hilites are appropriately strong in the blur, if you know what I mean. Maxwell uses HDRI by default? I always really like your pics, and this is no exception. Got you in my favorite artists list. hey wait a second - those spokes are not criss-crossed! I never saw a bmx wheel without criss-crossed spokes... cheers, Richard

Sure gets my vote, despite looking spankingly new. Excellent work indeed!

Thanks for the comments. Maxwell doesnt use hdri by default, there is an option of using hdri to light the scene. I didnt use that method for this, i used physical sky. btw, there are bmx wheels with straight spokes...but you could also say i was lazy and didnt want to figure out how to criss cross them.:)
