Description

Hi everyone.I'm back from my little holiday and had a wonderful time.Wow, have you guys been prolific! It's going to take forever to get through all those e-bots!So please be patient with me.I do so much want to see your work.It just may take a while... This was a shot I just had to take.I hated cropping it,(the thumb isn't),but I know many of you don't like to scroll. So I'll try to keep the scrolling to a minimum in my future uploads as well.Still I wish this was the full shot.Let me know if you think I made a mistake,ok? This was taken by a roadside somewhere in Scotland. What a beautiful country that is!!!!Those hayroll thingys reminded me of Monet,(or is it Van Gogh, lol)?Any way, hope you like it!-Marlene

super country farm scene and capture. Here in the states some people decorate rolls of hay for halloween. you could take this scene from Scotalnd and it would be a home in so many parts of the US

sooooooo beautiful, Marlene, and yeah...looks like Van Gogh to me too! first, the image size is PERFECT!!! I don't have to scroll at all! i like the images to be a bit bigger!!! Second...wow...had no idea you were going to scotland!!! how WONDERFUL!!! did you take this at twilight or was it just a really overcast day? the lighting is incredible! the sky is dark and grey, but the field and grasses and so golden and rich in color, making a very nice contrast! it's STUNNING!!!!!!!! can't wait to see more!!! :)

It was about 3 in the afternoon.Scotland has pretty freaky weather. It could look dark and overcast like this and the next moment have the most beautiful clear sunlight ever.Glad you like it,Sheila. :)

Yeah, got a crush on them in France last year :) Made a hole series of "rollscapes". Beautifull, its always like the make movement in a landscape, like there gone roll the next moment. Kinda tension in them, maybe I am just a nutcake :) Leave the maybe out, I think, lol.
