Description

This picture was shot pretty much in the opposite direction from yesterdays picture - and from almost the same spot next to my grandmother's house. This is maybe 5 hours later when the rain had stopped - and the sun broke through the dense cloud cover every now and again. The highlights are a bit blown out - but that is by choise - I didn't want the foreground to be almost black. And it also conveys the atmosphere as I experienced it. If I remember correctly, this was shot pretty late in the evening - but of course, the sun will be up until mid August so it's hard to guess the time of day when I can't see the direction of the sunlight :) The picture is from Lofoten, a small group of islands pretty far norh in Norway.

Amazing image! Yes, I know the weather in Norway makes often quick changes and so you get variations of the same landscape...

Great shot, dramatic looking area. Is there snow on the hills year round? The colours and shapes of the hills look so familiar...magic, Im off to check yesterdays post.

All of your photos are so dynamic. Real enough that I feel I'm looking out a window. Just SO impressive!
