Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

Great pic river of clouds...

using two shots is indeed the option for this.. if it's impossible i should recommend underexposure.. retrieving detail from shadow is easyer then from highlights in PS

Great POV, love the whole compo and framing, I agree with WONDERFULCREATION, its easier to underexpose then correct in PS. Superb work.

This is where some look to x-ray or infrared film for smaller grain and greater sensitivity. I guess that is only a sheet film possibility. Really, what do I know about such things?

Once again another beautiful image. I love the rise of cool mist. It cools my skin just thinking of being there instead of the hot desert!

Yes, that would be a great idea... I guess I should also try this method, sometimes!
