I started in 3rd grade doing ink drawings of bionic body parts for an imaginary army that would free humanity from the horrors of war....I read every sci-fi book that was any good, from Asimov to Bradbury, to some obscure artists, I collected comics like the Swamp Thing, and Ghost Rider, as well as all the rest, I saw Heavy Metal (the movie) for the first time when I was 11 and it scared the sh*t out of me, but fired my imagination even more.... BIO(LATEST NEWS: I have opened my own online casino software business: www.bettingsoft.com)
I still enjoy sci-fi and especially the horror part of the genre. I read and have for years the magazine that came from the movie that so inspired me (HM). I stopped being an artist for years after high school, but after being in a boring IT job for the past 6 years, I decided it was time for a change. My first efforts will be of course still images, and I plan to release a comic strip early next year. I don't see too many independant artists that do strips outside of Heavy Metal magazine, but I so enjoy the ones I have seen, I think it is time someone did. My first zine will be based on a Bradbury story that I read years earlier.....
