once upon a time i was looking for fantasy art for desktop wallpapers one day and found this site. what amazing artwork! (i thought, loudly and with much enthusiasm) and so realistic for computer generated - how do they do that? the programs on my computer barely edit photographs the way i want, let alone do things like that... i want to play too!
thank the gods for nerdy husbands who know how to find the programs that do that. now if only i could make sense of the tutorials and lessons in the manuals! sad but true, you can fascinate an archaeologist with technology, but you can't teach the archaeologist how to use modern tools no matter how hard you try.
i am an archaeologist and sustainable small farmer specializing in southwestern united states ceramics (for pay) and medieval-celtic-preceltic britain (for fun). we have more pets than children which is how the world should be, follow a pagan spiritual practice, and play around with computer generated artwork and amateur game design as a relaxing diversion from real life drudgery like cleaning the house.
