On the internet, I am mostly known for my fractal pieces. I generally use Apophysis as the application of choice to create the majority of my work. I discovered fractal art by chance at deviantART and, while it took me awhile to understand the program, I now love creating fractal artwork.
Beside fractal work, I have dabbled in many different art mediums. I have enjoyed drawing since I was a young child and was able to take lessons when I was a little older. I soon progressed to beadwork. I have experience in nearly everything related to beads, excluding glass work, but including wire work, many different stitches, pattern designing and polymer clay. I worked in a bead store when I was a teen and designed jewelry that was sold both at the store and later through numerous craft/art fairs over the years. During my time at the bead store, I also gave beading instruction to customers. At the moment, my preference is for peyote stitch as my beading design medium of choice.
I also have experience in pottery and porcelain work. Growing up in the Seattle area, I was fortunate enough to take a workshop instructed by the renowned Russian porcelain artisan, Galina Rein. Later, one of my pottery pieces, an interpretation for the Book of Kells, was displayed at my college's annual art exhibit.
