BIOCreating art, whether it's a quick sketch with a charcoal pencil, or rendering a fractal with my machine, is something I'm passionate about, and I hope it's evident in my work. While I've been creating digital art for years and years, I've recently focused on fractals. I am particularly interested in studying the way light and dark interact with eachother.
I enjoy the way a bright vivid color strikes a pitch black background.
I also enjoy the way light streams in through a window...
...the way a butterfly spreads its wings for the first time.
...the way tree branches learn to grow around, over, or under obstacles.
...the complete perfect structure of a honeycomb.
...the idea that we can scientifically and mathematically prove that infinity exists and that although we are only a small part of it, we are significant all the same.
These are just a few reasons that I have discovered a passion for fractals, and a desire to study them.
I cannot say much about my art without talking about my inspiration, which is nature. I am convinced, like most fractal artists are, that there is a connection between fractals and the way nature regenerates. I cannot logically create a fractal without logically questioning who created nature.
I hope you enjoy my gallery, and please feel free to ask for larger versions if you are running a higher resolution and would like to see more detail.
