Hello, My Name is Mark Manning from Adelaide South Australia Australia.
I started learning 3D about 8yrs ago when i aquired Raydream Designer, then i moved to Truespace then Cinema 4d eventually i managed to save up enough money to buy Softimage xsi 7 which i now use for everything that i model. I still have a lot to learn as far as 3d is concerned though.
Fairly good at modelling, not characters though, but need to study more texturing, rigging, lighting and animation. I hope to eventually run my own 3d Modelling business as well as write and play original music and create original artwork and possibly make a feature film or two.
When i was younger i started out building radio control planes, cars, boats plastic model kits etc
so i have an inherent interest in the structure of things both organic and in-organic and 3d to me seems to be a basic extension of that interest.
I find the future of 3d very exciting at the moment especially with the huge increase in processing power at our fingertips which will allow us to make even more realistc models and animations.
I also find Renderosity a most inspiring and interesting site, one of which i am proud to represent
as a member of the artists community and also as a vendor.
