I'm JD. I'm new this year to the whole digital art thing. But enjoying it so far!BIOI was born in Minneapolis in 1976. I have also lived in California and Texas when I was younger. I have now lived in Minnetonka, Minnesota for the last 16 years. I like it here.
Minnesotan by birth, Texan at heart.
I had my first and only child Jeffrey in June of 2000. I've been married and divorced. I'm currently quite happy being single. I have 50/50 custody of my wonderful son Jeffrey. He is the most important person to me in the whole world. I do my best to do anything for him.
Since I was a little kid, I had always wanted to be on the radio. As a matter of fact, my first word as a kid was "radio", go figure. Although the radio thing never really panned out for me, I did spend several years DJing at bars and nightclubs in the Twin Cities area. In September of 2001 I started JDC Entertainment. I still DJ'd bars and clubs, but I also added on doing mobile DJ shows for weddings and company holiday parties, or whatever party I was hired to do.
I no longer DJ but in January of 2004 I added DIGITALCat.net another "area" of JDC Entertainment. I now do basic computer support, networking support and freelance website design for residential clients and businesses. Yes, I am a DJ turned computer "dork." However I have always enjoyed computers as a hobby. There's been a computer in the house since I was 6 years old. I'm now 29. 23 years of "playing" around with computers. I build my own desktop PC's for myself, my family and some select clients.
Right now my life consists of working and hanging out with my boy. It's simple and routine. Nothing to complain about.
As far as hobbies are concerned I'm an avid motorcyclist and DVD collector. If it is sunny and halfway warm out here in Minnesota, I can usually be found kicking around on my Yamaha R1. During the snowy months, I generally stay indoors. That's where the extensive DVD collection comes into play.
My personal philosophy is this...No games, no lies, no drama...I have no time for it. I pride myself on my honesty and loyalty.
The one thing that makes me happy (other than Jeffrey) is the ability to make people laugh, and to entertain them. To make somebody laugh is an awesome feeling. Especially when they are having a bad time. Never lose your sense of humor.
Finally...I am me. Take me or leave me.
