Caught up in the last year of the Draft, and leaving college, I ended spending 8 years or so, wearing the uniform. After leaving the service I took on a design job with a leaded glass outfit and spent the next twenty years in the decorative glass business.
Recently I decided that I had enough of glass and took up drawing and illustration again. The 3d world pulled me in and I love it (although for an old fart like me it was a steep learning curve---sorta 'what does this button do' kinda person).
My wife is a florist (the artsy-fartsy type) and I have been blessed by having her in my life. I wouldn't trade her for two runway models. Best way to describe her is that I married Dharma. She is Irish, born outside of Limerick, hench my screen name. We reside in the Fort Worth area. Two wonderful children, who thank the powers that be, are grown and paying their own bills.
Anyway, fantasy, lore and history are my passions. I hope you enjoy my work. It sure beats the hell outta mowing the yard and fixing leaky faucets.
Regards,
Bob
