A contraction of the words "costume" and "play". The activity started in Japan of dressing up like characters from videogames and anime.




BIO
I began as a Poser Merchant over at PoserPros for over a year back in 2004/2005 and then took a shot at being a Renderosity Merchant.  I specialized in Cosplay outfits for AnimeDoll inspired by videogame and anime characters.  I put out about half a dozen sets but could not make a living off of the sales and had to get an office job.
During this time, PoserPros closed down and my one product I had brought to Renderosity was taken down due to the shirt being just a bit too translucent in the main thumbnail.  Because of my "real" job, I just didn't have the time to work on Poser anymore (not even to create a new set of thumbnails) so I never got my product back in the shop.
I hadn't worked in Poser in years since getting my job in 2005, but I just started getting into it again when I picked up a copy of Poser Pro 2012 on the cheap during Amazon's Christmas sales.
Dunno if I have the time to be a vender again, but we'll see how things go.
