Hi Folks! I am very much a novice at digital photography and only at the start of my journey. However, I am learning a little more with each effort, particularly in the area of composition. My friend Andrea, Durleybeachbum, has been most encouraging and its really down to her that I have appeared on this site at all! I would like to thank everyone so far who has posted kind comments about my photos. It has given me the confidence to take more pictures and upload them. I live in Devon, England, and we have some of the most scenic areas in the country with a great variety of countryside and terrain eg the moors, woods, the coast, rural villages, etc. Most of my photos will be of this area and  I am probably going to stick mainly to landscape and architectural subjects as these are the ones that give me the most enjoyment. But who knows in time I may venture into other areas as my experience builds up.Â
