As an architect I listen, observe, resolve, conceive and build. As a painter I observe, feel, and capture. At a personal level the freedom and fluidity of painting balance the process driven nature of my profession, architecture. Yet painting and architecture share the same eternal aesthetic principles. So it has been a wonderful realization that painting inspires architecture to seek even greater richness and life.
