Hello! I am the remaining half of Chichiri Kwan, the male half, not that anyone cares. Why are you reading this anyway? Go away. Be creative. Plant trees. Whatever.
Ah well, since you're still reading, I will give some background. I am violinist, composer, and author who has no talents with a brush or pencil but always wanted to tell a story visually. Thus Poser with some support from Vue, Bryce, and the ever popular Photoshop on my handy-dandy Mac allows me to use my sense of balance (feel free to disagree on that point) to tell stories. Some day I hope to add music as well but one step at a time.
I have spent the past year and a half learning (mostly through poking at things till something happened) how to compose my images. I have been patiently waiting for coupons and sales to buy things I need for the story and things which catch my eye (complete sucker for cute A3s with big eyes and black hair). I haven't started actually creating the art for my story because I'm still gathering materials, creating characters, and building scenes.
I think about my story each day, probably too much. I keep a journal in my car so that when I am struck by an idea I can write it down. One of my favorite things to do is going hiking while listening to podcasts on my my iPhone where I'll stop to write down some idea I've been tossing around in my head.
So what's the story? I think I'll keep that to myself for now. I want to get at least the first chapter and supporting web page up before I really go into detail. But the picture I posted here of my four main characters might give you a hint. Truly, it's only a hint at the grand scope of this great adventure. I look forward to bringing it out into the world because I think I have something wonderful to share.
I just hope I don't get sued into oblivion. Which would be really unfair since this is costing me a lot of money and making me nothing. It's simply a story I want to tell.
