Quite some years ago, I belonged to a MSN group which was devoted to photography and basic web design and I learned about Paint Shop Pro 7. Well I downloaded a copy, opened it and thought to myself "OMG!" and promptly closed it again. It took me another 6 months till I decided to give it another go, and from there I haven't looked back.
It took me ages to get to grips with it, but the things I could do with this program! I was enthralled.Â
From that small beginning my hobby has gradually been enhanced to what it is now. Not content with PSP and photography, I've dabbled in hand coded webdesign, poser imagery and over the past 12 months I made a large leap (financially) and bought the Adobe Design Suite CS4 which I have been learning while doing a full time course in graphic design.
I am loving the course however I can't do two things at once, even though I am female and can multi-task, lol. So my dabbling has been minimal to say the least.
But ........ my thinking and creativity has increased hugely, I love my programs and can't wait to know them thoroughly and soon I hope to be creating my little head off. I've registered my business name "DabblinDesign" and wish to build up a little business in graphic design, card making, invitations, web pages, I'm just itching to get going!
Wish me luck and good fortune.
