I'm a recovering science guy, who tried to work in the field and realized that I had really wanted to write about it. Instead of the Biochemistry and Microbiology fields of my degree, I'm most interested in philosophy, languages, literature, and history. Basically,all the things that make you unemployable.
I became a fan of this site out of delight in finding a source of science fiction and fantasy artwork. The work here inspired me to try to use digital art to storyboard for the book I'm writing. Unfortunately, my OCD spouse doesn't have any patience with anything that takes longer than 15 minutes to master. Fortunately, the variety of work here has enabled me to substitute it for what I would have done on my own
The graphic is the famous All-Seeing Eye. It is most commonly interpreted as being the "Divine Eye of Providence", in other words, God. Others interpret it as being the light of human reason and this is the one that I prefer. I'm working on another rendition of it that I can call my own because I consider the ASE to be my personal logo.
