Evan G. White is a principal with Transition Films LLC. He is a writer/director working in the Sony CineAlta 24P format.
Please note that Evan is a professional pseudonym, and some of you may know him by his real name.BIOHi, I'm Evan.
I'm new to the world of Poser. Yeah, that's a hard thing for a film guy to admit. I could defend that I'm sort of old-school, but really that's a cop out, because I was on the leading edge of geometry capture, motion capture and "dynamic caputure" (an unexploited technique using a synthetic aperture laser array) since the early '80s.
I had a stroke in 1998, which explains the gap in my film technology progress, and why I'm new to Poser technology.
One of the companies I work for, Holographic Projection Systems, is developing a proprietary method for 3D film projection that does not require special viewing glasses. The theater experience will be similar in a few ways to watching a play on stage, and the experience you have may depend on where you are seated in the theater house. (Hopefully that will not reintroduce pricing tiers for movie tickets!)
I live in Seattle, USA with my wife and six children, and since moving back to the University of Washington Medical Center arena have gotten the stroke and heart attack risk factors nicely under control. "Back in the saddle again" as they say!
My current projects include production of a direct-to-web monthly "live manga," a post apocalyptic science fiction series about of group of ten children, ages 9 through 18, living in the shell of an abandoned suburban area on the outskirts of a very futuristic city. I've never come across a story with as much romantic energy and story potential, and I am humbled and pleased to be working on it.
I have been a fashion photographer since 1981.
While not a "Youth Artist" myself (I'm 45, see genres) I specialize in working with youth, both with them as subjects and as their teacher. In my "spare time" (HA!) I manage my daughter's girl-band and am presently engineering tracks for their upcoming album.
I may be an unusual Renderosity denizen because I'm not here as an artist per se, but I *WILL* be contacting the server gods here to see about posting MPEG clips of my Poser animations!
Best regards to all.
Evan
