Having a background in theatrical  lighting, analog multi-track sound and analog video production, I entered the world of digital multimedia in the late 80’s with a computer platform called the Amiga. 2D design the package of choice was Deluxe Paint and for 3D it was Silver (later to be called Imagine).
The Amiga had problems maintaining a stable company so my efforts and software shifted over to the PC, the world of 386 and 486 processors where you could edit a few moments of audio or video on your 40 MB hard drive.
I started using Photoshop and Illustrator in the early 90’s. Then there were no levels of undo, no layers, very few presets. Drop shadows were created in Alpha Channels and files were backed up with every change or addition.
I originally moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2001 to be a partner with a design house called One International. As a partner I was responsible for the video/audio department as well as for web development. In the spring of 2004 I relocated to Ringgold, Georgia which is only a few miles south of Chattanooga.
Since 2003 I have been working with my company www.chattanooga-designs.com specializing in web and Flash design and development. In 2006 I started research and development for creating digital fabrics. My first product is due for sale in September of 2007.
