I'm a 40-ish year old software engineer who enjoys a lot of things in life.  The greatest enjoyment for me comes from the doing.  Cooking and 3D art are alike in that.  I enjoy the creative freedom of both.  I'm always looking for new techniques, new ingredients and new recipes.

I've never really been more than an ameteur when it comes to 3D modeling.  I'm completely self taught, and I think that shows in some of my work.

The handle 'Maughloque' is one I've used since before the internet, or at least before the web.  It's just an obscure spelling of 'Mark' which is my first name and what I sometimes go by in the real world.
