I am happy to be here; among very talented and original artists from the different corners of the world; although I am not one of them :-))BIOFirst, I would like to thank renderosity for building such a nice place for computer artists to share their work with others. I am a neuroscientist/biologist from Turkey. I also like very much to play with and explore new snapshots from the endless mathematical realm of fractals. I am not a professional on this field and know very little about the theoretical aspects of fractals. All I know is: the living systems (especially the nervous system, which is my primary interest) are morphologically very complex fractals and undestanding the similarity between these living forms and computer-generated fractal images is one of the most fascinating experiences of my life. I am now having fun with the fractals generated by my computer as my perception inerprets them via far more complex fractal structures in my head! If you like fractals, you possibly like neuroscience :-)

In April 2003, I have my Sony CyberShot DSCF505V (as a gift from my younger brother Selim; I am thankful for that :-))). This was the very first time that I hold a camera in my hands... After that I started to take my first shots.. Immediately after, I have realized that there is a huge number of possibilities in this area-digital photography was stunning! Now, I am totally hooked in photos and try to improve my knowledge and "artistic eye" ;-)

The main focus of my work is fractals; both in computer-generated fractal images and my photos. but I also have some seldom pencil drawings and some strange shots. All comments and critics are welcome... These are amateur attempts and all work in my gallery can be used without permission except for commercial use...
