Before joining the JobPhoning network, what profession did you work in and under what circumstances did you join the Jobphoning group?
I was Assistant Regional Manager at the SPCL (commercial subsidiary of France Loisirs) for almost 20 years. Attending 4 consecutive Directors gave me the impression of changing positions and it was very rewarding.
After a few months of unemployment (a period I hated, because I can't stand inactivity and waiting), I was recruited for the JobPhoning via a recruitment agency. Several interviews and tests allowed me to get this assistant position and I really don't regret it!
Could you tell us in a few words what your career path has been since you joined JobPhoning?
I had the chance to participate in the initial training for my start in the network and it was very rewarding.
The Strasbourg office was a creation. We therefore contributed to its assembly and development, which was a very rich experience and a great satisfaction.
What are your main assignments within your firm?
The assistant position is very varied, intense and rhythmic. I'm never bored!
The most important thing is the coordination between clients and director/consultants. Sometimes I am nicknamed "control tower"... and "mistress" in another register, for laughs.
My essential role is to register as many new buyers as possible for an appointment at the firm. Caring for former customers is also important, of course, because our objective is to satisfy our customers as much as possible in the long term.
Commercial management is essential, however, administrative follow-up of files is also important.
How do you help consultants on a daily basis? What is the secret of a "good consultant" Jobphoning according to you?
I try to be responsive to consultants' requests, even if it is tricky at times when I am overwhelmed. I relay as quickly as possible the information of the buyers/sellers.
I have the pleasure of working with a great team of 10 consultants. Everyone is different in character, experience, age and experience.
The secret of the "good consultant"? To constantly improve in all areas, I think that's the difficulty of this job! Above all, you must be persistent, close to your customers and invest as much as possible in each case.
In addition, we are fortunate to have the full support of our Chief of Staff! This is our strength...
What does the JobPhoning network bring you on a daily basis to help you in your job?
Ah, that CRM! Yes, it's a great tool that allows us to be efficient (what a disaster, when we have internet failures - laughs -)
In addition, the headquarters always responds "present" when we have questions or needs, which allows us to work calmly.
What attracted you to the job of sales assistant in a firm specializing in commercial and corporate transactions? And what made you join an Jobphoning firm?
That was the challenge! Getting this job and succeeding in the position were important because I had no experience in the field of business transactions and moreover, I had just completed 20 years' experience in the same company. I've put a lot of effort into making it happen.
I am used to saying that we spend most of our lives at work, so it is better if we go there with pleasure. And I am one of them. I am lucky to have a great boss and the good atmosphere within the firm makes me love my job! (weekly meetings with consultants are always nice moments).
Moreover, since our firm is located in a business centre, it allows me not to be isolated and contributes to my well-being at work.
To date, what is the case that has impressed you the most?
None in particular, because all are important. Every deal led to the sale is a kind of victory. Of course, being able to draw up a fee invoice is a great satisfaction. Nothing ever goes as planned, so when a sale is concluded, the victory is shared between the buyers, the sellers and the JobPhoning team.
