I lived in New York City for 20 years, and studied painting at the Art Students League of New York for seven of those years.
I've been working (or playing) with various 3D programs for nine years, Terragen for the past three.
My influences as an artist include Edward Hopper; Hudson River School painters including Thomas Cole, Frederic Church, Asher Durand and Albert Bierstadt; George Inness; Thomas Dewing; and too many others to list. I also find inspiration in literary sources including John Crowley, Gene Wolfe, Bradbury, Lovecraft and Tolkien.
