STORY: When thinking about the story of the image I tried to stay as close to the description of the theme as I could because I find it to be a much bigger challenge. So the story goes like this: A few years ago on Halloween, a young child did not return home after an evening of trick or treating. The desperate mother called the police but also took her car and went looking for her daughter herself. It was a stormy night and she ended up having a car accident in a nearby forest and was trapped inside her car. A few weeks later, both bodies were found. The child who was kidnapped and murdered as well as her mother who trapped inside her car starved to death. Now she comes back every year desperate, still looking for her daughter, but also very very hungry. Keep your children safe for something wicked this way comes! IMAGE CREATION: I started working on the scene a few days after the official announcement as soon as I got the idea and was working on it until today almost every day for at least one hour. Unfortunately I was starting to get errors so I had to render the scene early. The result may not be what I had wanted but I thought I was going to take part anyways. I used quite a few softwares to put the scene together but the main ones were Daz Studio for characters/posing/morphing, Blender for geometry editing and Maya for putting the whole scene together, lighting, materials and rendering.
