Subject: a good Mat utility

Is there a GOOD, utility, that I can add Mats without coloring the whole body ? Thanks

There is a MAT utility in Free Stuff that is outstanding.

Does it work with P5. I have tried some and it only saves the P4 stuff not the P5 (Displacement and GraidientBump)stuff. I am currently using CR2Editor and deleting everything I don't want in the MAT (hitting the del key key 200 times).

There's also a python script on my homepage. It doesn't support the "(Displacement and GraidientBump)stuff" though...

Actualy, I'm looking for a utility that CREATES mats, for seperate body parts.

At the risk of "advertising", my own MAT Pose Creator program creates MAT poses as well as sub-dividing MAT poses (which is what I think you're asking about). You can include (or exclude) as many body parts as you like, for the final MAT pose or sub-dividing MAT pose. But, since my program is available for sale in the Marketplace (and the sale of which helps support this site), I may or may not be able to mention the URL or price (since many people consider it "advertising"). --John

I used to have Mat Pose Creator, but I lost it in a hard drive crash.

Ming; if you bought it here you can re-download it. Just go to 'My Shopping Cart' then 'Purchase History/Downloads'

Thanks. I didn't even think about that. I downloaded it, but I get a "warning" popup, and I can't open it.

If you need another copy of an item that you downloaded, but the Renderosity downloader isn't working, please let me know. I will be more than happy to e-mail a replacement copy to any of my customers. Ming- if you would like a new copy, just IM me your e-mail address and I'll send you the latest version of the program. And I like to think that most (if not, all) of the other merchants have a similar policy to help their customers. --John

It downloaded fine...I think. When I try to run the program, is when I get the "warning" popup. A little guy with his hand up, like a traffic cop. I've never seen anything like it.

Ming- Send me an e-mail (jch@cocs.com) with the "warning" message and I'll help you fix it. --John
