What a lovely atmosphere! I wish I could be there! I really like the colors, lighting and atmosphere. The only thing I could tell you would be that the water seems a bit like jelly. Wonderful work!

SDL, I was thinking of the water too - it's like looking down at an otherwise extermely beautiful girl with misshapen legs. the snowflake plugin for photoshop (check my posts over the last few days) seems to work ok if you want to add snow and don't want to bother with a Byrce technique(check tjohns entry on that one theres a tut on bryce snow there). I am otherwise blown away by this image It's very good. - TJ
Well, I do have an objection. :-) Along with water, change the scaling of the trees. They are way too big for the rest. It's not your fault, because Bryce doesn't have a way to make just the trunk taller. Also, lower the number of branches on those that have jumbles instead of crowns. Then, the ground and ground cover should be more or completely yellow, just like the rushes should, too. You have snow on the ridge and then perfectly green rushes. Hmm. Water might benefit from a bit more transparency. Also, I'd lower the islet. I don't think you have such cliff-like ends on ponds or small lakes. Finally, close the door, it's cold outside. :-) Or put a figure or something in front of the house, looking at the sky.

Your sky is just gorgeous. Makes me think of Nothern Lights (not that I've ever seen it except in photos). I think you can get away without creatures, it is winter after all. If you stick some wood out front, and maybe a hatchet as though someone has just been chopping, I think you will give the impression that someone just went inside with an armful for the fire. Lin
