I'm not sure there IS a demo of the Millenium characters though. Your best bet is to use your friend's PC to see if you like it before you buy it. If you can't get enough time on his PC to try it out, then either he's not a good enough friend or you want to do more than is really required to see if the program and models are of interest to you, IMHO. I wonder if DAZ or Creative Labs are aware of this kind of behaviour?
If you have to start learning how to create textures for the program's characters, then you've got the CL program (at least) working on your system. I wouldn't hope TOO MUCH for support/help using good which are, technically, stolen. If you'd bought them then perhaps the vendors might support you in getting the items working on your system.
how can it be stolen, if my friend owns the cd, and let me borrow it, to try out? if thats stealing, then i guess when i let you borrow my brand new music cd so you can listen to it, then thats stealing too, so i guess i can have you arrested? all im asking, is why the system keeps giving me these errors? you know, the money for the cd's isnt cheap. so why waste money if you cant use something? i come here with a problem, seeking help, and i get accused of stealing basiclly. i figured maybe someone else had this problem at one time, and they fixed it. thats all im asking.
Oh, if that's all you want to know then yes - that is theft. You have installed software that explained during installationn that installing it on your friends PC and yours is theft (part of the EULA that you had to confirm you'd read and understood before you could install the program). Asking people to help you to perfect this crime is asking them to aide and abet a crime, making them accessories (even if after the fact). So yes, while I think we tried to give you the benefit of the doubt as long as is possible, what you are doing is illegal, is theft, and in theory you could be arrested for it. Tell you what - if you don't belive me, e-mail Curious Labs, explain the situation to them, and ask THEM for technical support. Don't forget to give them your full name, e-mail address, home address and telephone number while you're at it. So they can help you.

Hi. I borrowed my friends cd's for poser. He has mike, vic and stephanie. i wanted to play witht hem, so after instalation, i opened poser. but everytiem i click on the head or upper body part, i get the "eception in c error". why is this? what can i do to stop this, so i can actully try to use these figures? they work fine on his system. we thought they might have been corrupt, so he uninstalled them, and reinstalled them, and they still work fine. the only difference between our systems, is that he runs win 98 and i have xp. other than that, we have the same hd, mem and cpu. any idea's?
