Subject: Help with cartoon rendering - no shadows!

I am trying out the cartoon render with line option, and when I make a test animation I don't get the figure's shadows on the ground but I do get the wireframe shadows from the lights, which I really don't want to see in the finished animation. Am I missing something? Thanks. Also: can anyone recommend either LW or Cinema 4D to use to host pro pack animations?

No, you're not missing something. Cartoon w/Lines is more of a display mode than a render option. Since you aren't actually rendering anything, Poser isn't calculating the lighting and shadows. That's one of its many limitations.

On the plus side, it does crank out the frames quickly.

render in normal mode, save pic.import pic as backgound or apply to one sided square as texture.render in cartoon mode.
