Subject: Vicki 3 confusion

Fairly new to Poser still, have Vic 1 and just got Vicki 3. I love the versitility with the body morphs, but am a little frusterated with the face. For example, I can make larger cheekbones. . . but not higher? There also dont seem to be as many option for the jaw and chinline. I am more than a little confused and dissapointed, as I simply CANNOT get the face I want. . . Does anyone have suggestions?

If the morphs aren't doing what you want, you'll probably need to make new morphs, either with magnets or using a different modelling program. geep has a great magnet tutorial. Do a search for Magnet Primer.

The trick is to really just experiment with dials in both positive and nevative values. Different morphs do different things. I don't have the exact recipe in front of me but look at things like Chin, jaw, & neck The checkbones have several morphs. Using them together should get what you need. Allow yourseld time to experiment and learn what effects you get using different morphs. Most of us didn't learn overnight either. Here are some of the dials to look for. Your just a bit frustrated. Anton

CheekbonesSmall in reverse should do it. Apply some "Wince2". Most of the asian bases have high cheekbones. Use a tiny bit of them with some male in reverse. Slavic has particularly high cheekbones. We do have a completely new Jaw morph coming out in the male pack that removes the jawline almost completely. Not that that is what you want but I think you can get the same effect with the african or male heads a tiny bit in reverse. Chimp works nice a bit in reverse too. It's all about soft and subtle dial tweaks, many in reverse.
