It IS possible to export meshs! Just found this out on the KTP Bryce Forum: http://www.halcyon.com/alrives/brycetips/messageboards/ Exerpt from Waldos post: "Well, I tried it, and it works for single meshes, and for a GROUP OF MESHES such as a model! At least, I could get stuff out of Bryce as a Wavefront OBJ file... try it yourself, here's how: 1) Import the model. 2) Select it and hit the E next to it for object properties. 3) Press CTRL+D which brings up an export dialog. Select the file type you wish to export as, and then export it! Worked for me for two files, then I tried to export as a .3ds file and Bryce crashed. This was with Bryce4 for the PC, I'm sure it works for at least the MAC version" Try it,it works wonders :]

Yeah, I've exported several files from Bryce to use in Vue 3. When ever I try to export in 3ds though, Bryce crashes. So, yes it's possible, but 3ds files crash all the time from my experiences. Huh, and I thought it was just my computer that had problems with 3ds.

Digital Artist I've been posting a link to a small tutorial I did sometime ago. This has always been one of the most asked questions we get on the Bryce board. Exporting Neal

Well, you can always export as OBJ, then convert it to 3DS in a 3D conversion program. Melanie

:-) Ya, exporting is sorta broke in Bryce4, but not too useful...
