It's actually quite good :o) The weirdness at the elbows is a Posette (Name of the P4 Nude Woman) problem, and nothing else that postwork can fix that :o) What texture are you using (if any, I'm not sure) A good texture can really make the difference in a render Ste Leth has made a number of very very great free textures for Posette and the Dork, they're at the link above :o) Have funFREEBIES! | My Gallery | My Store | My FB | Tumblr |
You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Vicky 3 has weird elbows, too! Basically, if mesh is bent more than 90 degrees, there are places which need touching up after rendering. I haven't seen that upper arm problem before. How much Twist do you have on the dials? I agree about the textures. Stale's selection will keep you busy for a long time. :)
Thanks a bunch enryoka and all. I am really trying my best to get the hang of this 3d stuff. LOL I will go look at Stales collection of texture. I used the basic P4 woman texture, ( I am still experimenting with textures) I am not sure what my dials were at but I can remember that when I was trying to adjust one of her eyes, the dress kept moving, and maybe her arms got bent and twisted too but I went back and restored the dress as well as her arms from the edit menu, and it still came out like that. I will also experiment with the lighting.
That is the way you do it. Adjust one thing, go back and fix something else that went haywire. You did a splendid job on the eyes, though, lovely face, even with the strange blonde eyebrows, you do need some of Staales and maybe a few from HappyWorldLand-- check the links in the WebRing Top 15 on the right. Her hair looks good! But don't forget to check out Digital Babes -- also on the links to the right and Maya Studios.[just do a search on Maya in our Free stuff] for wonderful free hair. It won't show up till you render-- there'll just be a bunch of dots indicating the transparency but it will look fantastic. While you're at it, do a Free stuff search for Hack. He does some of the loveliest posette morphs and some very handsome P4 male ones, I hesitate to call him Dork with these morphs. You're doing very very well. Keep it up! Emily

What i did here was take both of these images after saving as png files, I took them into PSP and added some illumination to them.
P.S I will put the face shot in a reply.
Thanks, Annette
