Tired to wait answers from Daz tech so I will post my question here. What causes this problem do I need get my money back or do anyone have a solution? Victoria 3 with and without service packs Poser 4 with latest updatest Xp pro, it render like this with v2 also and alone, gets much wierd/er looking if pose.

I've had that program with the Daz Dresscoat Italia, but only if I point my camera at it STRAIGHT from the back. If I move the camera just one degree either way left or right it snaps back. Odd. Laurie

problem, not "program"...sheesh.

If you're on P4, delete the .rsr that resides in the Geometries folder. If that gets corrupted then weirdnesses like that happen. LaurieA is right, if the camera is exactly 180 degrees, Poser freaks out and displays wacky stuff. Try moving the camera just slightly off to the left or right. It's a problem with Poser, not the robes.

Well, I don't know if that being a problem with Poser and not the robe is good or bad ;o). Laurie

Thanks but I do know how to delete .rsrs that is not the problem Poser dont even load that case the figures if they ar corrupted, so that was not new. Crescent or anybody else do You have that Robe and can do couple renders with it to show how it looks like in backview and side views on V3.

Well shoot, I'm making textures for them. THey look sooo great in a normal pose. I've found that if you pose vic3 (haven't tried Mike or V2 yet), the robe goes wonky. So after I posed here here (one of the Daz V3 poses), I conformed it again and then brought the hood up. She has some poke thru that I didn't fix for these images. Donna

There is some stretching in the back.

pendarian ( ) posted Wed, 15 January 2003 at 12:42 AM

I have it, but had not used it yet. What I did just notice though was when I rotate V3 it does this, but if I choose the main camera and rotate it then it doesn't happen. Pendy

  1. Do you have IK turned off everywhere... robe and legs? 2) Was the figure zeroed out (legs and butt straight) before you conformed the gown? The back of the skirt portion, with the deep indentation between the legs looks unnatural in all these pictures, even the side views. The dead straight lines as it sticks out don't help either. There may be something wrong with the mesh if it doesn't fit either figure. Carolly

  1. yes
    2.yes
The robe looks like the same in all V figures best looking on Mike2
I dont know, but can it be something on the morphs that causes this? I dont think its the mesh, but I dont know.
I do except better quality and less work as they ar ready made products. ;( I like CTs clothing ideas and the longgown what I have dont have these problems, I had never have these probs before and I am beeing using Poser4 over 3 years.
Yes I had plan too to make textures for them but as it seems now I dont know maybe I want my money back. I want rotate my Vickies and even be abel to show desent backview renders and definity want that hood to show up correct.
I really dont have use for the robe as it is like this.
    Thanks pizzaz to showing them.:)

I don't have time to do more renders this morning, but I did NOT have IK turned off on V3. When I turned it off, the robe looks great with the main camera Y setting @180. You get up to 220-227 you can see the stretching on the fabric. The robe itself does not have the IK turned on.

I don't know why this is happening but I'll check into it. The wonderful wierdness of Poser. :p We'll see if we can't fix it. ct

TT ( ) posted Wed, 15 January 2003 at 11:10 AM

Great CT, try to find fix so I can use it!:)

Wynter ( ) posted Wed, 15 January 2003 at 11:36 AM

Ok, its my wierdness and not Poser's! First the texture map and now this. And as all problems come in 3s there's bound to be another one. Okay, I don't know how it happened but the cr2 was missing "otherActor" info. So the head and the rThigh did not know they were supposed to act along with their neighboring body parts. I have sent the fix to Daz and there should be an updated cr2 on the product page later on, probably by this evening. BTW, I would like to note that this is "Optimized" version for V3. It was not "made" for her. So their are going to be issues with body parts sticking out due to the fact her geometry is different complicated by the JCMs. So if there is "poke through" some adjustments will be required. Future V3 clothing will be tailored to fit her geometry. Thanks, for your patience

I will see forward for the updates and Thanks CT, we do have patiens :)sometimes ;).

Thanks, Wynter. I'm glad that it is so easily fixed.
