and imo the back ground isn't right, any one use Dudley's street scene befor and has scaling suggestions?

IMO, it's way too bleached out. Try setting the reflective colour of the street scene to black.

Hi dj Although I don't have Dudley's Steet Scene (which looks very nice by the way), I might suggest you "play" with the lighting a bit. I am the first to admit that my Poser Lighting Skills have much to be desired, but I am sure we have some experts on the Forum who can give you some excellent tips :) ladynimue

i'm actully messing around with lighing now and reflection maps on the car and re-texture the wall and TRY to do a flame paint job on the vette ( btw Billy kick ass vette!!). thx for the suggestions keep em coming only hade 2 coffies so far and brain is mud ;)

Something to try out - a suggestion I made in another thread - for your outdoor lighting in an open area... One very bright white infinite light. (Try saying that when you're drunk. :)) After all, that's effectively what we have with the sun. Set your shadow map size to 1024, light intensity around 120%, then just mess with the angles until you get the shadow position you prefer.

oh i'm having fun :D well the car texture is pissing me off :P ben awhile since i painted flames on a car let alone a flat surface

now i think i got it looking alright( been wrong befor and could be now :P )now i'll re-texture the wall and print off a template of the car and try the flames again.
