Welcome to the Poser Technical Forum.

This is the place you come to ask questions and share new ideas about using the internal file structure of Poser to push the program past it's normal limits.
New users are encouraged to read the FAQ sections here and on the Poser forum before asking questions.
Why don't you like P3DO? It's the best there is for what it does: viewing Poser files. Has a lot of other features as well and has just been upgraded. And the price can't be beaten :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Hmm?? My main topic wasn't out of dislike. I am sorry if I got off on the wrong foot? I was wondering if anyone had found any software programs out there in the CG Software Industry market that have more capabilities, features, and/or functions that work hand in hand with Poser, Daz,& etc. Better could also mean supperior.P3DO has been in due process for several years. Not to mention the bug list..& let's not forget that most of these companies don't have damage insurance??It doesn't take long to tie up a lot of collateral in a computer???look at it this way???If I went and bought a car. put 2000.00 down. Then spent 350.00 a month for a year. That would equal an investment..Well, If we had a fender bender???Need I say more..I guess that why I also have C4D. regards,
I don't know of anything else that does what P3Do does, either better or worse... Yes, it has bugs and limitations, but let's not forget the price. :-) Zenware's CR2 editor is good for a variety of Poser related tasks, but it isn't really a viewer. I quite often have P3Do running in the background - it's much easier to search for an item here instead of scrolling through endless libraries in Poser. What software do you know of that comes with insurance against damage to your computer? That company must be either very foolhardy, or very confident. Or maybe I misunderstood your post. ;-)
Well EB, I am pretty much sold on P3Do for now..There are just are not very many programs out there that can do the work of P3Do...It is to bad that Poser isn't in an easier format?? 3D Explorer doesn't make the grade... My point about software insurance is this; when you install an E-mail certificate(Verisign)You not only register and authenticate yourself to you clients. You also are insured. This means that if I sent you an e-mail and it destroyed your computer/or if I tampered with your computer. you would be protected under my certificate policy. However if the same thing happened to me viceversa I would be protected up to a defined amount of dollars. My point is that now a day's you can purchase software that cost as much as 1200.00?? and it can have bugs and cause damaging effects to your computer???right?? Here is another example!! Computer power transformer outlets??? those square boxes that can hold up to six electrical plug-ins??? A company(to name one of a bakers dozen) "Isobar"!! Isobar makes these outlet extension cords that a guaranteed to work. If??"If" the outlet plug fails and causes damage to your electrical stuff the company will pay you for the damages..
