I have poser 1 and 2 andneed to upgrade. But at this time 250.00$$ is for me to much. So I would like to exchange for some other software.I have Amorphium,Ray dream designer or maybe some games or visual c++ 6 enterprise ed. Let's talk Vladimir SGLG90A@prodigy.com

You might try some of the software discount places, like Egghead.com. They sometimes sell clearance software. Or even e-bay, if you can trust them. There are places where you can get new, unused software for lower prices. Check the PC Arts magazines. They sometimes put older versions of programs on their CD. They might have Poser 3. If you have older versions, you should be able to get the P4 for the upgrade discount. Melanie

For that matter, there are software trading forums (I've heard of them, but haven't visited any) that might actually allow such an exchange, but this is NOT the place for it!

Vlad, if you are a registered user of Poser 1 or 2, as I was, Metacreations will sell you the upgrade to version 4 for 129.00, not 250.00. Since this is a Poser Forum, we are all fans of our program here... though some days you could not tell it for our whining. I doubt any of us want to get rid of it and transfer ownership ;)

heya; btw... how DO you buy poser, now that it is kinda outta mc and... not quite into corel? (i guess you dont buy direct, like i usually do, huh? :) )

I've seen it in some mail order software catalogs, but I can't recall which ones at the moment, but there's one that has a whole page of MC products and Poser is usually there. I have a couple around here somewhere, but I can't find them right now. Melanie I'm with Bast, I sure couldn't give up my copy. I'm a hard core addict!!!! :)

Metacreations no longer offers the upgrade. I spoke to them last week. I do not know if Curious Labs is prepared to sell/upgrade, and whether you would be able to get a discount.
