Subject: Converting actions.

Is it possible to convert a PS 6 action so it will work in PS 5? Thanks

Have you tried it? I thought both versions were compatible.

Most times an action won't "degrade" properly is if you are using functionality available only in the higher version. You also have to be mindful of "how" you call up the routine (keystroke shortcuts, menu pull-downs, point-click...) Other than that, try it and see if it works. Test it by changing your "playback options" of your actions to Step-by-Step and that will let you know where it toss's it cookies...

Thanks guys, but it still doesn't work, I just get a message that says it is incompatible with this version of photoshop. It's the Daz3d Millenium Eyemaker.

Try converting the action to a text file. Print it out & study it. When you understand the action, it should be easy to re-record it in version 5. Maybe?
