What you're asking about, (making clothes), is probably the most difficult part of poser, or at least, the part everyone would like to be able to do, but mostly can't. If you're fairly new to poser, I'd forget making clothes for the moment and just download them. There are tutorials on it, but believe me, it's complicated stuff. You can customise faces without too much difficulty by using morphs. Go to the link above and look for morphs for whatever characters you have. I think traveler also has tutorials on using them. macAttached Link: http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=16487
I have a video tutorial (for sale) on the subject. For clothes, you need to get a modelling program. There's some free ones out there as well as several professional level ones. There are tutorials on how to do this, but I'd suggest playing around with a few modelling programs before trying to make clothes. Some props can be made inside Poser if you learn how to use magnets, etc. Do a Search on "Primer" to find them. You'll find his tutorials on how to use the tools within Poser to make props. They're very well done tutorials. It's possible, but difficult to substitute out parts of a figure. I'd suggest you learn about how to use the morph dials and magnets before trying this. Cheers!

Is there a way to make clothes for poser 4, and not have to download/buy them? If there is, could someone please show me how to do it? Also, is there any other way to customize faces, i.e.: making a nose and adding them on, or making different eyes or mouths, and be able to add them on? If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Dragonfly
