What would be a good frame rate for a medium quality animation? Acuos

Hi. The lowest frame rate a animation should hae with out looking to jumpy is 15 frames per second (fps). Film is 24 fps PAL format ( Tv in Europe) is 25 fps NTSC (north american tv) is 30 fps. :)

If you're doing an animation for the web, 12-15 fps is what the standard is.

Do atleast one thing a day that scares the hell outta ya!!

Well, I just finished an anim 750 frames, 25 frames per second, a 30 second movie, only 2.5 megs, and each frame was 640 by 480. A lot depends on how you are post processing it. If you are rendering to avi or mov, use 15. If you are doing bmp sequence and post producing in another program, i'd go for something higher, 20-30.
