heyas; here it is after building the scene. im not very happy with it. i couldnt get the grass to be a nice golden colour like mike did. i did replace the colour map with the colour i was using on the ground areas, but they still look too green and not golden enough. the rock for the cheetah to stand on didnt turn out a very pleasing shape. and the cats both have that too-much-caffeine bugged-out eye look. well, maybe they see something interesting :) any help you can offer this poor picture?

This looks great, so much so that I'm doing my own cheetah picture, keep tweaking it and you'll get it perfect. Jody

heya; mike, i did put in a golden brown gradient instead of the texture map in the weeds... but will try the ambient setting. yeah, that IS weird with the plant transparencies... but it seems to me you can get blue goo in them if you use your own transparency maps. ::sigh:: cool, jarm, let's see it when it's done! :) gee, nedrah... i wanted just this bright hot hazy light, but... oh well, doesn't hurt to try other atmospheres :) thanks guys!

Hi BSong, What blue goo? Btw, Painter 5 should have layer or do not? Any new object created in Painter on a new layer, if I am not mistaken is term "floaters" by MC. Bill

For the eyes, maybe if you translate them back into the head a few .000s? Is this cheetah included in poser, or is it a cat morph? Or did you buy it? It's really cool despite the alarmed expression... Mary

heya; tesign: you know, the blue gunk you get when you have too many transparencies layered over each other. :) and yes, painter 5 has layers. i cannot paint on an empty layer. i cannot create a new layer and paint on it. i can only paint on a layer that is there, and has something in it. see? black canary; this is the p3/p4 cat, with modified scaling and the 9lives morphs, with extra mesh slicing and new texture mapping. you can download it at www.poserworld.com. you'll need objaction mover to decode it, and, of course, the original cat model. the eyes are part of the head; they dont move. however, they can be partly closed, i just didn't do it. i should have.

Hi BSong, This image is done with Vue 3.1 beta 4. The whole background is a plane, so is the nearest and biggest sunflower nearest you, and the nearest bee too is a plane. I did see a very slight..'blue gunk' when the plane overlapped. Try what I did and see if it works for you...a spot light pointing with enough power on it. This image is done that way. Good luck. PLEASE SEE NEW POST FOR IMAGE. Bill Tesign
