Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 25 12:38 pm)
I've seen the Dork, Posette,Mike, Vicki, and other Poser items in allot of places over the last year. Newspaper articles, TV commercials, Movies, you name it. The Dork is for sure in a scene in Spiderman when Norman Osborne is in the Goblin Gas Chamber ( check the monitor). Another common place you can see Daz and Poser figures is on "The Fifth Wheel" were they use them for goofy dating popup graphics.
It looks like Posette is the demo model for the "how to" video on the automated checkout at our local Albertson's.
Before they made me they broke the mold!

Dork has been used for a new Subbutteo Soccer game - you have a pair of plastic boots and a pair of nylon shorts which you wear on your FINGERS - you then stick this cardboard cut out of a (completely unmodified) Dork above and play finger-footie with it. This all costs 20. Even I could do better - I mean have you ever seen anyone, let alone a soccer player, who looks like Dork!!!
That's exactly what I am saying! I mean, even with Poser 3 you could customise the things - to just use them 'out of the box' and then sell 'em as graphics seems a little cheeky. Oh yes, now if any one has a David Beckham morph I can assure you that I would give it a very good home! Aren't we girls pathetic!?
David who? OK OK I KNOW he's a soccerplayer. and married to a spice girl (forgot who) am I pathetic then? I h8 soccer...... :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Check the cover of the latest "Skeptical Inquirer" magazine (at your local bookstore, maybe) - Vol. 27, No. 2 : March / April 2003. That is definitely Poser 4 NudeMan w/ genitalia turned off. Mesh matches perfectly. BYS
