Criticism please... This is going to be my first scene where I try some major postwork. Aside from the obvious hair, what type of postwork should I concentrate on? Also anything else that needs tweaked, changed, scrapped etc let me know.

2 from me, feet are in the fog, and theres a window in her cage? Oops 3, She could very easily walk through the spaces in the cage especially the one to the right of the door. Cool image so far.

You're talkin rework, you dont ask much do you lol. Let me first ask about the feet and fog. It's really supposed to be more of sand and wind, rather than fog. I had planned to do a little blending/smudging on the hard lines it wont be so noticeable. Are you saying it would look better to bring the wind blown effect (if there is any) behind her? Please tell me it looks at least a little windy? lol The space between the bars, and the window, were all intentional. My intent was to show her escape was actually the fact that she keeps herself caged, she could leave anytime she wanted. I hoped to make the window into a mini lanscape scene, as if she might spend time gazing at the outside world. Oh the large space beside the door was a goof. There's a bar there but I must have somehow set it to invisible in one my gazillion rearrangement sessions. Thanks for the input.

You might try an object with a sandy texture and adjust the transparency till you acheive what you like. Also set the texture at "fuzzy" in the Materials Options. It'll save alot of time trying to brush it in post. Good Luck

I really like the idea of a different landscape view through the window, I think that has a valid psychological punch to it. One thing you might work on is the leaves in the cage, if it's windy then they should be twirling up into the air. That would also emphasize the windy aspect of the scene. Cat

For a bit of irony, you might want to add a bird or birds somewhere in the scene. My first instinct was to have one sitting on the 'window'. But perhaps having a few flying and framed by the window might be nice. Cool way to execute this concept. Good luck sorting out the sand. Lin

Thanks all for the input. Good idea Cat on the leaves. As soon as I get the dirt and sandy effect worked out I definitely put in some debris. Lin I think you read my mind. Before I even started I did a search for birds but didnt really find anything. I thought a dove would be nice, but perhaps a bit cliche'ic. Right now i'm stuck on making the dirt look windblown. I'm still trying different materials set to Fuzzy, but can't seem to find a good one. Brycester... I can't use this for a challenge cuz that would be cheating! lol.. and we all hate that "C" word.

You probably know this already, but if you set a few leaves in a group then duplicate a couple of times and hit them with that disperse 2D and 3D thingy then you can achieve a pretty convincing set of wind blown leaves. 8) Cat
