Excellentissime !!! You should upload it on the Carrara gallery here (si ze lineque) litstFreid, have you used a lot of soft shadows ? With high resolutions ? They eat a lot of ressources, especially when coupled with GI . Nope just a skylight and 2 small light whithout shadow to tweak with the gi-transparency-mode-bug. You, know, the one that you told me a bit about ;o) I think the 'dodoche' file is slow to render, because it has a LOT of polygones that's it ! (i dont have the file here at work, so i cant tell you more about it. i'll look if you want) Freid
Quite Exquisite! Great Job! Question: With 3000 objects and a 324mb file, how does it perform when you are moving objects, working in the program, etc.. ? -Paul Thanx It works :) its sometimes realllllly slow with my machine, (maybe 15mn to load or save !!) but it works (fortunately, i got several machines). I keep da preview in boxmode, and i sort all the objects in a few groups which i can hide/unhide almost quickly. I must say that file is huge, and i think i can clean it a bit, but hey, i love messy stuffs ;) Freid
