I just can't help myself LOL. I haven't tried creating a template for the morphed long skirt or long dress since I installed the patch, but I did find that the patch corrected some problems I had yesterday with the clothes pak. I'm finding the clothing pak to be pretty versatile with the morphs and the sections that you can texture differently just by selecting in the materials area. I did not apply the textures to the skirt or dress but applied the textures to the templates. For the sheer top and bra, I did just apply from a texture though. I used a transmap from a net pak from a long time ago--sorry, I don't know who did it. Used Anton's adapted P4 Tina tex again and Yamato's hair on the one on the right with color adjusted. I find that you have to tweak a bit even after conforming. However, while playing with Vicky's body, I find that there are LOTS of small tweaks that can make a difference. I had focused quite a bit on her head, but I'm liking the whole model more and more. I have to admit I haven't done anything with the P4woman since I got Vicky. Diane B

Oh my, the :-) didn't show up (after the don't know what you're talking about). It doesn't read quite the right way without the smiley. Claire

Steve, thanks. From you, that's a BIG compliment S. Hope you decide you want to make more things for Vicky too. BTW, love the new CD--I hope to have a CD collection from you one of these days. Claire--if I can help, please let me know. We'll just be 2 'pilgrims' working our way through the forest. What I'd suggest is to open the dress, then go up to the materials part and see all the parts you can make transparent or not and how you can combine them. Make each a different color and make them all NOT transparent and you will see what's what and how you can fiddle with them. Then you'll start to see that you can do a heck of a lot with them. Also--each of these had morphs--the dress had the skirt morph, the skirt had a morph and the Tshirt had a shorten morph, a Vneck and a scoop morph. For the dress on the left, I mapped the dress template over the part that looked like it would include the tanktop and the skirt. Then I made the wrist, the elbow, the shoulder, the Vneck and the neck all grey. I could have combined any of these differently. I selected the rthigh, the lthigh and the hip and made them all long with the MT dials. If I had included the vneck in the dress, that would have made the dress be scoop neck. Anyhow, once you get to playing with these, you'll see all the things you can do, but if you have questions and I can answer them, more than glad to do that. Diane B

Diane, Thanks! I may take you up on it although, from your other post and this one, I think I'm beginning to see the light. I hope :-) Claire

Hey Diane these look great!!!.. I haven't had time to play with all the cloths yet but I did play with the dress.. Had a few problems but nothing major... It would be great if you were to do some textures for Vicky's cloths and share them with us...*hint *hint..=) I really love what your doing with them... Hope to see more!... ~Cindy

That's sort of my aim Byte. I am totally illiterate (well, almost) in web pages. I have a 'beginners' at Fortune City and my goal this Spring was to get one set up. I know I can't really upload to Freestuff from there, but I thought I could 'announce' the site when I got it up. However--there have been 'things' (elderly sick parent far away and my own 'real' work). I still plan to do it. I may have to ask for some help in getting it set up. I love doing textures, altho' these aren't much. I need 'goals', I'm afraid G. A site would be a 'worthy' goal. I do have to figure out how to set up a download area too. I'll certainly work toward that. Thanks for the nice support. Diane B

Oh, Cindy, Chad from Zygote posted to my first clothes post before I patched. He said we needed both the patch and the latest Vicky upgrade which I just dled but haven't installed. Jim Burton and I have agreed that there seems to be more 'fussing' with scaling, making parts invisible, etc., than with P4. I'm wondering if this is because of the myriad of options and vertices with both the clothes and Vick. BTW, in having to do that 'fussing' I discovered I could make the thighs and calves 'fuller' which I did here. LOVE this model. Diane B

Diane, I am totally HTML illiterate....I'm with angelfire .. I use it only to upload files to the fun stuff because it's dummy proof and I am a dummy when it comes to web stuff... I think I have like 200 accounts with other sites but some I have to make pages with software and upload from there.. I dont't think I'm ready for that yet... yikes.. lol Only problem I had with Angelfire is there are a handful of people on the forum who say they had problems downloading my files but they eventually got it to work.. I'll go with another site when Angelfire gets too crowded.. I hope you get something set up soon... I'd really love to use your stuff.. =) Oh and I have the patch installed but still had some problems with the dress... It might be because it's been so long since I've used cloths in poser... lol Vicky has been naked a long time.. I haven't even pulled the P4 woman out of the closet for a while.. I always get busy playing with Vicky.... hehe.. So I know what you mean... =) I'll have to check your earlier post.. I haven't been on too much lately.. I think I've missed a lot.. =( ~Cindy

Diane, let me know if I can be of help with this. If worst comes to worst, I can host you on my site (direct linking is not a problem) and might even be able to set you up with your own ftp access (I'll have to check the "how to" section and see if it's possible). Let me know if that would help and I'll get back to you on the ftp possibility. Kate
